Role: Visual + Interaction Design
Labventure is a distinctive learning environment that exposes students to real, authentic science. The audience – Maine's 5th and 6th graders – gets immersed in a sequential narrative experience over the course of 2 hours, where they engage with scientific content in a unique format.
Split into 10 activities, the experience exposes students to memorable ways of understanding and communicating with data, as well as scientific tools, methods and environments. They work, as scientists, in small teams of 3-5 on activities that require collaborative effort.
Cinematic and immersive, the visual approach allows the glow of data and information to step forward from a muted and darkened background. Platform is a 55" table.
